Hi!
We are Pelle and Lisanne, a married couple from The Netherlands. We would like to take you on our journey and tell you a bit more about ourselves, our love for Disney and why we decided to have an Instagram account about Disney and now a blog as well.
Just like many others in the world we were raised with Disney movies, Disney plush and Disney toys in our lives. So our love for Disney began at a very young age.
When Lisanne was 5 years old her family took her to Disneyland Paris for the very first time and little did they know that it would have such a big impact of her live and she would fall in love with all things Disney.
Fast forward to 2015, we already lived together and it had been over 8 years since Lisanne went to Disneyland Paris for the last time. She was dying to go back and explore everything, but Pelle didn’t like attraction parks and was not sure if he would like it. And since we live in The Netherlands you don’t go to Disney for just one day, so we had to go for a couple of days. After a lot of convincing from Lisanne, Pelle decided to try it and just go with the flow, little did he know his live was about to change. 😉
In October 2015 it was time to go! Lisanne was so excited and couldn’t sleep while Pelle was a bit hesitated and didn’t want to go for the full three days we booked. We stayed in the Hi Park residence and went to Disney villages when we arrived and Pelle loved it instantly. He was even excited for the next morning when he would enter the park for the first time.
Well… long story short, Pelle fell high over heels in love with everything Disney and that made the love between us a lot stronger. Since that trip everything in our lives slowly became more and more Disney related.
We went a lot more and even got Annual Passes for Disneyland Paris. In April 2018, we got married and the theme of our wedding… yep it was Disney and for our Honeymoon we went to Walt Disney World in Florida.
So as you can tell by now, we are pretty addicted to everything Disney related and wanted to share all the pictures we took on our trips. So when we were drinking a cup of tea at the Market House Daily on Main Street USA, we decided to start an Instagram account. And instantly had a name for our account, Lost In The Magic.
We absolutely love to post our pictures on our Instagram account, but missed a place to tell our story’s, our tips and tricks and other fun stuff to others. And that’s why we decided to start a blog about all things Disney.
