Good news for the Disney parks and Disney parks lovers! After such a long time today a Disney park opened it’s doors for guests again!
Shanghai Disneyland was the first park who had to close it doors due to the Coronavirus. On March 9th they opened the Disneyland Hotel, Disneytown and Wishing Star Park again.

But today, after almost 4 months, on the 11th of May Shanghai Disneyland reopened the entire park for guests.
Even though the park reopened, that doesn’t mean that everything will the same as pre Coronavirus. There are still rules to make sure that guests and Cast Members stay healthy.

New Park rules:
- All guests and Cast Members have to wear face masks for the entire park day except while eating.
- You’ll have to go through a health test.
- There will be Characters around the parks but they won’t pose for pictures.
- You’ll have to make a reservation if you want to visit the park.
- There won’t be a parade or theater show.
- There will be a nighttime show but without fireworks.
- There are purple mats at queue’s for social-distancing.
- There will be empty rows at attractions.
- All bars and ride vehicles will be constantly cleaned.
- In some of the rides like, Buzz Lightyear’s Planet Rescue, you’ll have to wear gloves.
- You are not allowed to touch merchandise you won’t be buying.
- Fewer guests will be allowed at the parks, which also means lower wait times.
- Social-distancing is of course a priority.
There is also an instruction video.
We are so excited for this reopening and hopefully the other parks will be opening soon!
Have a magical day!
