Another week has passed and that means two things, one, we’re already in March 2020 and second of all a whole week full of Disney has passed. We selected the most noteworthy Disney news from the last week for you, let’s get into it!
- Bob Chapek is the new CEO of The Walt Disney Company.
Asian Parks
- First of all the Asian Disney Parks are closed due to the Coronavirus. Honk kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disneyland are already closed for over a month and we have no idea when the parks will open the doors again. Last week also Tokyo Disneyland announced that they closed their doors until March 15th.
- There’s a new Tokyo Disney Resort Monorail popcorn bucket coming out on April 8th 2020 to celebrate the new monorails.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
- Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is coming to the Play Disney Parks App.
- Tomorrow, Wednesday March 4th 2020, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is going to open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
- This is Chuuby, a new Disney bird who has a starring role in Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
- There is also going to be lots of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway merchandise coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Click here to see all the merchandise.
American Disney Parks
- Even though its only the beginning of March, you can already buy tickets for this years Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Click here.
- New Briar Rose Gold Ears.
- Disneyland Resort has started adding hand sanitizer stations at the parks due to the Coronavirus.
- Last weekend the Magic Happens Parade finally debuted at Disneyland Resort and we love it!
- Amazing new treats are available at Disneyland Resort to celebrate the new Magic Happens Parade.
- Last week a Jungle Cruise boat sank at the Magic Kingdom.

Disneyland Paris
- Plaza Gardens and Agrabah Café have new menus and both of their prices raised with €1,- . The new prices are €35.99 for adults and €18.99 for kids.
- The Disneyland Paris 2020 commercial.
- Good news for all the Café des Cascadeurs fans. The restaurant is still there and is expected to be part of Avengers Campus.
- Info on the Saint David’s Welsh Festival has been released.
- More names and information announced for this years Electroland.
