- There’s a new Moana themed Dole Whip coming to Magic Kingdom. Disney describes the Hei Hei Cone as a Blue Cone filled with a layer of Pineapple Dole Whip, Raspberry Soft-serve, Sugar-Piece Eyes and a Sour Candy ‘Comb’. It retails for $5,29 at the Aloha Isle.
- Star Wars Episode IX has been officially completed filming. This news has been confirmed by JJ Abrams, the director, on his Instagram account. The movie will be released in theaters on December 20th.
- Disneyland Paris Spirit Jerseys are available in Fantasyland at Disneyland Paris.
- Disney Legend Dave Smith (78) passed away this weekend. He was hired by Roy Disney in 1970 to catalog every item inside Walt Office suit, which had been left untouched after Walt’s passing a few years prior. Later he grew the achives from a one mans department to a model for corporate archiefs.
- Ron Jon Surf Shop will be opening a new store in Disney Springs in late 2019.
- Disneyland and Walt Disney World are getting new Floral Mickey ears.
- Another Pixar Short Kitbull has been released.
- More details about the show Rhythms of the Pride Lands during the Festival of the Lion King season in Disneyland Paris are released.
- Rhythms of the Pride Lands will be a 28 minutes show.
- The show will include 65 performers including singers, dancers, acrobats and musicians.
- The show will take place in the new 1200 seats indoor Frontierland Theater (used to be the Chaparral Theater).
- A new creation unlike any of the current Lion King productions.
- The Festival of the Lion King season starts June 30th in Disneyland Paris.

- Steamboat Willie LEGO
- LEGO announced the winners of their ongoing LEGO Ideas Contest and this time a Disney inspired set has been selected.
- The designer of this Steamboat Willie set is szabomate90.
- The other winner of the round made a set of the Central Perk Coffee Shops by the show Friends.
- Before Steamboat Willie will be manufacture, this set will undergo a final review and design process. It’s likely some minor changes will be made to the original design.
- Fun fact: szabomate90 submitted his design back in 2016.
- The final design, pricing and release date are still being worked out.
- A rumor had surfaced about an attraction being added to the United Kingdom Pavilion at Epcot, Walt Disney World. The attraction might be a form flat ride (carousel) to modest dark ride (Fantasyland style dark ride.). The most likely theme is Mary Poppins/Mary Poppins Returns. If the rumours are true, the attraction would be open in early 2021.
- Disney announced some green news. A new 270-acre solar facility providing clean energy to Walt Disney World. It is expected to generate enough energy power just from the sun, to operate two of the four Walt Disney World theme parks. Isn’t that amazing! Click here if you want to read more.
