FAQ: Annual Passes Disneyland Paris

One of the questions we get asked a lot is, why would you buy an Annual Pass for Disney? Doesn’t it bore you after so many times? Is it expensive?

These and other questions will get answered in our frequently asked questions about Disneyland Paris’s Annual Passes.

  • What are the prices?

Let’s start with the current prices (as of fall 2019) for the Annual Passes. There are four tiers, all with different benefits and blockout dates.

  • Discovery Pass (€179)
  • Magic Flex (€259)
  • Magic Plus (€299)
  • Infinity (€449)
  • What is a blockout date?

To make sure the parks won’t get too crowded during national holidays, there are block out dates. It means you can’t visit the two theme parks on that specific date. Cheaper AP’s (Annual Passes) have more blockout dates than the more expensive ones.

  • How long are they valid?

An AP is valid for 365 days including the day of getting your pass. If you buy one on the 22th of June, it will be valid thru 21th of June next year. As a courtesy CastMembers at the bureau passport may give you additional months for your AP.

  • How long will it take before you take full benefit of an AP?

That depends on the AP tier you’re in. A day in Disneyland Paris typically costs you €80 per person per day (if bought online). If you’re planning to visit 3 days you’ll spend €240 on entry tickets per person. Which is more than the cheapest annual pass.

If you count in all the extras, you’ll be much cheaper if you visit four days with the Magic Plus than with the traditional tickets.

  • Conlusion

We are for the second year a Disneyland Paris Annual Passholder and we visit 5 times a year for a few days. Just imagine how expensive that would have been without an AP. So yes, we would advise anybody to look into the prices for their trip and check in AP’s would save you some money.
