If you go to any Disney Park around the world, everyone wants to take at least one picture with that park’s castle. But how to make the best castle pictures without getting a lot of other people on the background? We have some tips for you!
A “mistake” what a lot of people make is to make a picture from Main Street, Central Place or on the Castle’s bridge. Even though there is a chance that those pictures are beautiful because they capture the front of the castle, there is a huge change that there are a lot of other guests on your picture.

There are quite some spots around the castle which will give you still the amazing castle on the background, because lets be honest, Disneyland Paris’s castle doesn’t have a bad side, and also won’t have a background full with other guests.
Places around the castle
On the left side of the castle there are a couple of great spots to take pictures with the castle:
- First of all on the left side almost right beside the bridge is a wonderful spot to take a picture, but you’ll have to make sure that there aren’t a lot of guests on the bridge at that moment. This is an amazing spot since you’ll see the castle almost from the front, there is greenery behind you and you can also get the amazing lamppost on the picture as a bonus.
- If you walk a bit further to the left you’ll find a path way that leads to the castle, on the left side you’ll find a little space, which is a great place to take a picture of you with the castle.

- Then there is another spot to take amazing pictures of the castle, which is also in front of a little gate, which adds some greenery to the picture.
It is a bit harder to take pictures on the right side of the castle since their stands a huge stage, but there are some nice places.
- If you walk to the right side of the castle you’ll find another bridge, which leads you to a wishing well and Fantasyland. This bridge is also a great place to take a closer picture of the castle.

- on the left side of castle stage is a open spot where you can make a nice picture of you and the castle. On this place you’ll make sure that the bridge isn’t loaded with other guests.
Behind the castle is also a beautiful place to take a picture. At a curtain time they will clear out Fantasyland to get ready for the firework show, if you’re there at the right time you can make a picture with an empty courtyard on the background.

But what if you want a pictures from the front of the castle?
- If you stay at a Disney hotel you’ll get magic hours, which basically means early acces at the parks. If you get really early into the parks you can get a great pictures with none of a few other guests on the background
- Another tip is to wait until the evening to take the perfect castle picture. After the firework show Illuminations almost all of the guests will leave the park as fast as they can to get home after a long day outside. You will have to have a little patience because it can take 45 minutes of even longer before the biggest crowd has gone and there won’t be as many guests on Main Street. You also have to be kinda quick since the Cast Members are slowly working the guests out of the park.

We hope we haven given you enough useful tips to get your perfect castle picture at Disneyland Paris!
Have a Magical Day!
