How to survive the cold at Disneyland Paris

During Summer we already wrote tips and tricks on how to survive a Disney park during hot weather. Now the colder days are heading our way, we wanted to share our tips and tricks on how we defeat the cold at Disneyland Paris.

Why Disneyland Paris in special? Well we’ve only been to Walt Disney World and that was during Spring time, so it was still pretty warm in Florida. So we haven’t experienced any other Disney park during the cold months. And since we live in Europe ourselves, we know pretty well how to stay warm during the cold days.

Bring lots of clothing and put on layers of clothes.

Put something on your hands and on your head to stay warm

Try to go to a warmer place every hour, to warm up your body a little bit, think about going into a store, restaurant, show, the Discovery Arcades or even visiting a hotel.

Drink something warm, this will warm you up from the inside.

Bring some extra clothes for the mornings and evening, then the weather will be even colder, so make sure to bring a blanket to wrap around yourself or bring an extra pair of leggings to put under your pants.

Don’t stand still for too long, don’t stand still for over 15 minutes, the cold will get to you. So wait for the parade near the parade route, but try to stay inside or keep on walking.

Is there a long wait time for an ride and it’s outside? Try to go back later when the wait times are lower (during lunch, dinner time, during the parade or firework show) or try to get a Fastpass.

Try to eat something every other hour, due to the cold your using a lot of energy to keep your body warm, so make sure to eat enough, some warm is the best choice of course. 😉

And once your Disney day is over and your entire body is so cold, try to take a warm bath if it’s possible. This way all your hard working muscles can relax and the cold will disappear from your body.
