Lost In The Magic Hotel Review: Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch

Yesss, finally we are back with a brand new blogpost. We have been really quiete lately because of Co-vid, but recently we restarted our Disney life and made quite some trips to the most magical place in Europe again. On one of those trips we got to stay at Disney’s Davy Crockett Ranch, so time for another Hotel review!

Overview of the hotel

This was our first time staying at an actual Disney hotel in Paris, so we had no idea what to expect. The Davy Crockett Ranch isn’t just an “hotel”, it’s an entire park! There’s a parking area, The Village and the actual place with the log cabins. It is a huge park and we had to use our car quite a lot of times to go from our log cabin to the village, but there is also a trail leading from the cabins to the Village.

Let’s start with the Village. All of the buildings at the village are huge wooden building and have countryside styling. There are lots of beautiful plants and flowers all around and it looks so neat! Also, there is area music to create a vibrant atmosphere just like the theme parks.

In this area you can find a reception, a market, a playground, small animal farm, a restaurants, a saloon, a arcade, a saloon and an indoor pool! Alamo Trading Post, is the shop at the park. You can buy some food, necessities like diapers and some Disney park merchandise.

The setup is really big, there is something for everyone and you can even sit next to a fire in the evening!

Blue Springs Pool

Usually we don’t get to enjoy a hotel pool because, we will be at Disney, but this time we made sure to check out the pool for a while. At the entrance of the pool you can buy some swim clothing and other pool necessities. With the measurements in place we had to show our magic passes at the entrance and had to bring the towels from our log cabin. It was an amazingly themed pool and it was a lot bigger than we expected. There is a waterslide, a kiddy pool and much more. To be honest, the water was a bit on the cold side, but we had a great time.

The rooms

So this time we hadn’t just a room but an entire log cabin. The surroundings of the cabins are beautiful woods with birds and squirrels and it feels so peaceful.

We had a log cabin for six persons which includes a master bedroom with en suite full bathroom and a bedroom with 3 single beds and an extra spare bed. There was also a bathroom with a separate toilet. A kitchen with a dishwasher, stove, waterboiler, coffeemaker, microwave and all the dishes you may need. A dining table, a small sofa, a telephone and tv with special Disney tv channels.

Then there is also a huge deck with a picknick table which were easy accessible through the huge sliding doors. The sink in the en suite bathroom can also be used as a bath for your little one.

Hygiene

The log cabin was extremely clean and had everything we could wish for and more. There was even shampoo, conditioner and body-wash available. When you show your map at the store, you get a package with some dishwasher tablets, a cleaning cloth and all-purpose cleaner. There were plenty of towels and bedding for us.

Conclusion

We would definitely stay here again if we visit Disneyland Paris for a longer period of time. Even though it’s an amazing park it’s a bit expensive to just use it as a place to sleep because there are so many extras to see and do. It was an amazing experience and for a larger group this is much more convenient that multiple hotel rooms.
