We try to go to Disneyland Paris multiple times a year, but staying onsite can be very expensive. So we often sleep in partner hotels or hotels in the neighbourhood and would like to give our thoughts.
Overview of the hotel
The hotel is situated in Marne La Vallee very near to the Val d’Europe shoppingmall and Disneyland Paris itself. You can walk to the theme park in about 15 minutes. You can also take the free bus to the park. You can get the timetable at the reception of the hotel.
If you stay on the west or north sides of the hotel you might be able to watch Disney Illuminations from within your room.
How nice the location might be, the staff isn’t always as friendly as you would suspect from a four stay hotel. And one of the other drawbacks is the lack of (free) parking space. You have to pay €15 for your car to be parked underneath the hotel (not sure if that’s per night or per stay).
Pricing
Prices per night depends on the time and season you’re planning to go and the type of room you want. We have paid from €63 per night up to €88. Let’s say it’s not a bargain, but not too expensive either.
The rooms
So far we have stayed in two roomtypes: The family suite and a regular studio.
The family suite is a very big apartment like room with a separate bedroom, big bathroom, separate toilet and good view of “your own” patio.
The regular studio includes a hall way with a big closet with a safe and a bathroom with a toilet, sink and bathtub. In the living/bedroom you find a kitchen, bed, windows and a little desk with TV.
The beds are not your regular beds, it’s a couch which you can turn in to a double bed. Don’t worry about the comfort, it’s a very nice and soft bed. We’ve always slept well in those.
In the small kitchen you find a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, waterboiler for a cup of tea and all the things you would need to cook a meal (except for the ingredients).
Hygiene
All three of the rooms we’ve stayed were nicely decorated and all the beds and bathrooms were clean. The towels and sheets are nice white and feel and smell fresh. However the furniture seems a little worn out. The curtains and carpets may have bare patches or stains. We have had a curtain with a red stain on it (we hope it is wine..).
Food
The breakfast is quite expensive and we never used it because of the kitchen in the rooms. We’ve bake our own croissants in the rooms haha!
Conclusion
The hotel has a very nice location and we think the beds are very comfortable. Hygiene is good, but because of the worn out furniture you feel much dirtier than you would in a good as new room. We’ll definitely come back to stay at Hipark by Adagio Serris, if the price is right (under €70). We’d recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel very near to Disneyland Paris.
All in all we give this hotel a 4 out of 5.
Have you ever stayed in Hipark Serris? What are your thoughts?
