We try to go to Disneyland Paris multiple times a year, but staying onsite can be very expensive. So we often sleep in partner hotels or hotels in the neighbourhood. In our Disney trip in February we stayed in the Kyriad at Disneyland Paris hotel and would we like to give our thoughts.
Overview of the hotel
Before we went to this hotel we have read reviews on the internet and a lot of them were negative, so we were curious and decided to give it a try.
The first impression of the hotel was really good. The paint on the outside was little worn, but everything looked taken care of. The reception was closed and was now located in a container on the back of the hotel. We didn’t know anything about a refurbishment so we were a little thrown off.
We had to go thru the garden to enter the reception and the garden looked really nice. Also the employee who help us check in was very friendly. On the hotel grounds was a little farm we had to check out. We were so pleased to see animals who were taken good care of, which made us very happy.
The parking at the hotel is free and there goes a free bus from the hotel to Disney every 15 minutes.
Pricing
Via Zenhotels we paid €55,- per night including breakfast for a standard room. Sadly no option to select the bedtype.

The rooms
We stayed in a corner room on the first floor. Our room was very close to the building where the reception should be in and the busstop.
The room itself had a long hallway because we were located at the corner, a tiny bathroom. We had separated beds, but they were very easy to move against each other. There was a TV, little desk, a closet with a save and a waterboiler.

However, the building itself is very old and not isolated enough for today’s standards. When neighbors arrive you hear the closing doors and the speaking very well and it woke us up a lot of the times. That was really a bummer.

Hygiene
The rooms looked really clean. Even the curtains and carpet were stain free and looked almost as new. The toilet was a little old, but still clean. The towels and sheets were nice white and felt and smelled fresh.
We have stayed for three nights and we were told that housekeeping wouldn’t come after the first night, but when we came back after out first Disney day, our beds were made and the entire room was clean. Lucky us!

Food
Our breakfast was included in the price, but retails for €13 per adult and €10 for children. We were pleasantly surprised with the breakfast buffet. There was a lot of choice, warm and cold food. We eat both vegetarian and even for us there was a huge amount of choice. They had freshly baked croissants and Pain’O Chocolate, warm rosti and a pancake machine.
There is also a possibility to have dinner and there is also a bar, we haven’t tried that out.

Conclusion
The hotel is really nice, breakfast is amazing and there is also a little farm for the children. The employees are really friendly and the rooms are clean. But the rooms are really noisy, so with the wrong neighbours you won’t have a lot of sleep and privacy.
We give this hotel a 3,5 out of 5.
