Mickey Waffle, Team Princess beverage & Unicorn Cupcake #FoodReview

We have been to Disneyland Paris from February 11th until February 15th. During our visit we could enjoy the Pirates vs. Princesses Festival. As we mentioned before in one of our news updates, for the first time in forever, they released multiple themed food and beverage items and we had to try some of them of course.

Mickey Waffle

When we were in Walt Disney World we tried mickey waffles for breakfast and Pelle was totally obsessed with them. So when we found out that the Mickey waffle was available in Disneyland Paris he couldn’t be more excited. When we came across Vicotria’s Home- Style Restaurant we had to go in and try them.

There are different variations on the Mickey Waffle and they retail from €8,99 and up. We choose to share the Mickey Waffle with Nutella and hazelnuts.

The Mickey Waffle is available at Vicotria’s Home- Style Restaurant, a table service restaurant, where they mostly serve Mickey Waffles and warm beverages. You can enjoy the nice terras with a view on the castle or sit inside in a little Victorian tea house.

The size was perfect to share as a little snack or to have by yourself as a lunch. The taste was amazing and tasted like a freshly baked waffle. The Nutella and hazelnuts complimented the taste of the waffle.

Team Princesses Hot Chocolate Milk

We also tried a themed beverage, the Team Princesses Hot Chocolate Milk also at Vicotria’s Home- Style Restaurant this drink retails for €6,99

This drink was just a regular Hot Choco with a lot of whipped cream and a huge amount of marshmallows on top of it. You will also find a little chocolade with a crown design on it which stands for team princesses.

The hot chocolate milk was very nice, because of the cold weather we had in Disneyland Paris. The great view at the castle made it super special. The chocolate milk was very rich and the whipped cream was very tasty, but the best thing about this hot choco where the little marshmallows on top. They tasted like exactly like vanille and strawberry ice cream.

This is a very nice beverage to have after a long day in the cold, especially with the view on the castle.

Unicorn Cupcake

This cupcake is made for the Pirates vs. Princesses festival and is available at the Market House Deli on Mainstreet. It retails for €4,30.

Ever since we saw the announcement, we knew we would buy and try this cupcake. It’s a chocolate mousse with a caramel and banana creme in the middel, so what could go wrong right?

The cupcake is super cute and looks nothing like any Disneyland Paris food so far, it looks more like something you would find in Tokyo Disney Resort.

The first impression was very positive, but then it was time to taste this cutie. The first thing you would taste is the chocolate mousse, which is very nice and rich, but at the second bite you’ll find the banana and caramel creme. It sounds like a good idea to mix these two flavours but in this cupcake it tasted awful. We couldn’t recognise the taste, because it tasted more like plastic or something.

We shared a cupcake and very time we took a bite we had to take a big zip of our Coca Cola to wash away the taste. After a couple of bites, we both felt sick and decided to throw the leftovers away (which was 2/3 of the entire cupcake).

We posted a picture on our Instagram Story’s and some of you replied, that you guys were warned by others not to buy this cupcake. So we aren’t the only ones who didn’t like this cupcake.

Let us know your favorite snack in Disneyland Paris! 🙂
