We get a lot of questions if it is still a magical experience going to Disneyland Paris with all their safety measurements and if it is still worth to visit.
Well, this is how what we thought of our first visit to Disneyland Paris.
Before you visit.
First of all, you have to make a reservation for the days you want to visit the parks and you’ll have to bring a facemask, which you’ll have to wear for the entire park day, except once you have a safe space or sit down to have a drink or snack.
Parking
Once you arrive at the parking, the cast members will ask if you have a reservation and once you paid you’ll ride to a parking spot. There are multiplu cast members who will
accompany you to your parking space. They will use every other parking row wo there won’t be cars directly next to yours which, is so convenient and will give you much more space to get ready for the day and pack all your belongings.
We put on our facemarks the second we came out of our car but, that is not mandatory.
If you walk towards the entrance you will still hear the usual music and broadcast but, they added a part which will remind you about social distancing, a reservation and the facemask.

Bag security
Before you enter you’ll have to go through bag security as usual but now they added rows of fences and use stickers on the ground, to help you distance.
We loved this way of bag security much more because, you have more room and it is much quicker than before.
Entering the parks
Then you’ll go to another line but this time at the entrance of your park chosen park. Again there are rows of fences and stickers on the ground. A cast member will check your reservation, you have to use handsanitizer, scan your ticket and.. your in the park!
Yes, it feels so much longer before you’re inside the parks but, it goes pretty quickly and it’s all because of safety!
The parks are pretty similar than before, the biggest difference are the number of crowds and that everyone is wearing facemasks.
There is a new way of meeting characters, they are on a socially distanced place. You stand in a queue, again with the social distancing stickers, and once it’s your turn you can interact with them and take a selfie or pictures of them.

Meet and Greet
This is a new way of meeting characters but, the queue goes extremely fast since there is no hugging or autograph signing. There is still much interaction with the characters and you can still have a chat with the face characters.
Snow White and Prince Charming are standing next to the castle by their wishing well, Aurora and Prince Philip are on the balcony of their castle and you can find Daisy at the entrance in the gazebo.
We loved this experience, since you could meet so much more characters in a small amount of time. The characters are in such good places, which make much more sense than the meet and greet places before covid-19.
Food
You gave to wear your facemask the entire time you are at the parks even on attractions. The only time you can take them off is once you’re seated at e restaurant or once your safely distanced and are eating or drinking.
The restaurants will have a digital menu at the entrance, which you can find using a QR-code. A cast member will tell you to use handsanitizer and will direct you to a line with a cast member who will note your order. You’ll find the distancing stickers on the floor again. Ordering is practically the same only there will be a screen in between you and the cast member. You’ll wait for your order and then your party will can find a place to sit and enjoy your meal.
There are always benches or tables free since there are fewer guests at the parks, so enough room to safely take a sip of water or have a bite of your snack.
They added multiplu small terraces, mostly at Main Street USA but, that are great ereas to eat a snack.
(We only experienced quick-service or just a snack during our trip.)
The cast members are really trying to help you and make it a safe experience for every guest and cast member. We felt that the cast members where much more helpful and friendly than before.
Are you planning on visiting a park soon?
Have a magical week,
