We go multiple times a year to Disneyland Paris and since we live in The Netherlands, we have to spend the night or even a couple of nights near Disneyland Paris.
We already wrote a couple of hotel reviews from hotels near Disneyland Paris and hotels at Walt Disney World. But when we plan a trip to Disneyland Paris we often end up at the Hi Park Residence, but why?

The last time we stayed at this hotel was last April (2019). We hadn’t been there in a couple of months and where positively surprised when we came into our room. As we mentioned in our review some rooms were a little worn out and really needed a fresh splash of paint, new curtains and a new carpet as well.
The first things we noticed was fresh new paint on all of the walls, a stain free carpet and fresh new curtains, so that was a really big plus!
So why do we like to stay at this hotel so much?
First of all the price range, we often get a really good deal online and sometimes when we arrive at the hotel get a room upgrade as well, which is a huge plus. So you will have a really nice room for a bargain.
The other main thing is it’s location. The hotel is located really close to Disneyland Paris on the Disney Village’s side. So we often leave the car at our hotel and just walk to Disney which is super convenient after Parks closing. We don’t have to stand in an overcrowded bus or have to stand in line with cars to get out of the parking lot.
The rooms at this hotel are more like very tiny apartments, because there’s a kitchenette. For us it is a huge plus if we want to do Disney on a budget. Also there is a huge shopping mall just a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. Which has a huge supermarket, so when we arrive at the hotel, the first thing we do after check-in is quickly getting some breakfast and bottles of water (water is cheaper in France than in The Netherlands ) and bring it to our hotel room before we leave for the parks.
So, this hotel is a really nice place to stay if you want to stay close to Disneyland Paris without spending lots of money on Disney hotels. There goes a bus from the hotel to the parks and the other way around. You can spend a day at the mall or at Sea Life, which is located underneath the mall. Save money by buying and making your own breakfast and have the freedom to walk to Disney.
Plus if you hotelroom on the right side, you can hear and sometimes even see the fireworks show at the castle!
