Earlier we shared our favorite rides at the Walt Disney’s Studios park, so it’s about time to share our favorite rides for Disneyland Park as well. Read our favorite Studios rides here.
We both don’t really like extreme thrill rides, so you won’t find any of those in our favorite list. If you also don’t like thrill rides or you just want to check in which ride categorie a ride in DLP falls, we separated all the rides in extreme categories, you can check the list right here.
The first ride on our list must be, Phantom Manor. This ride just opened after a refurbishment and we are so glad it is finally back. We haven’t been on the refurbished version of the phantom Manor, but we are sure it is as good as the old one.
Second on the list is Big Thunder Mountain, eventhough it is a thrill ride, it is still something we both really like to ride. The theming of The Big Thunder Mountain is amazing and the background story of thunder mesa is amazing. That’s why we like it even better.
Next up is Mickey’s Philarmagic. We saw this “show/ride” during our honeymoon at the magic kingdom, wdw and when we heard that Mickey’s Philarmagic was coming to DLP, we were so excited and we’ve seen it so many times already ever since it opened at dlp.
The next ride is a real classic, Peter Pan’s flight. We absolutely love this dark ride and Lisanne could ride it over and over again. But most of the time the wait times are really long and because of that we don’t ride it very often.
Ofcourse there must be a unique DLP ride and that ride is, Casey Jr. Le Petit Train du Cirque. This is a really fun ride for the entire family and we love the theming of the area as well. The train has a Dumbo theme, and rides through all kinds of classic story’s. Like the castle of Beast, and the Tower from Tangled.
