If you have missed it, Disney has announced their movie schedule until 2027! We’ve shared the entire list of upcoming movies and wanted to share our thoughts about this list of the upcoming Disney movies.
Aladdin – May 24, 2019
The first upcoming movie we are looking forward too, is Aladdin. This is a childhood favorite for a lot of people and also for Pelle as a little kid. We are really excited to see what they did to the live action version and if it’s still a classic.
Toy Story 4 – June 21, 2019
We both love Toy Story and can’t wait to see what will happen to Woody, Buzz lightyear, Jessie and all of the other beloved characters in these movies. We already saw a couple of new characters and are so excited to meet them.
The Lion King – July 19, 2019
When Pelle was little, he was about to have a baby brother. To give his mother some rest his father took Pelle to the Lion King (in cinemas) for 3 times and he loved it! So it is really special for him to go to the movie theater again and see this new version of The Lion King, maybe even with his little brother.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil – October 18, 2019
Lisanne is a big fan of the Maleficent movie and was so excited when she heard there would be a sequel. We have to wait for a couple more months, but she’s ready for it!
Frozen 2 – November 22, 2019
Frozen 2, what can we say about this. We are sooooo excited to see the Frozen sequel and after the first trailer we just can’t wait anymore.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker – December 20, 2019
Pelle is a huge Star Wars fan and saw almost all of the newer Star Wars movie at the movie theater, so when this movie comes he is the first in line to see the movie.
Mulan – March 27, 2020
Let’s get down to business! We are really excited to see how Mulan and Mushu and wonder how this masterpiece will end up as a live action movie.
Jungle Cruise – July 24, 2020
As Disnerds, we are really looking forward to a movie about the beloved ride, Jungle Cruise. When we were at Walt Disney World, we had to ride the Jungle Cruise for sure and wonder how their going to make a movie about the ride and if we knew all the little secrets.
Cruella – December 23, 2020
Especially Lisanne is really looking forward to this movie. She doesn’t like Cruella De’vil at all because of her love for animals. But Lisanne is looking forward to this movie to get to know a bit more background of this puppy fur loving villain.
