What’s in our Disney bag?

Is it your first time going to Disney or are you curious what other people bring on their Disney adventures? Today we are sharing our Disney park essentials with you…

  • Wallet – You really can’t go anywhere without money and especially in Disney you’re gonna need it. You need it for your food and beverages but most of all for all the nice merchandise you can buy. πŸ˜‰
  • Park Tickets – We always bring our Annual Passes for Disneyland Paris, we can’t go without them. But when we were at Walt Disney World we really liked the idea of having the park tickets on our Magicband.
  • A bottle of water  – Bringing your own bottle of water will save you a lot of money on drinks during the day.
  • Your phone – We will never go a day to the parks without our phone. Not only for making pictures, posting on our Instagram account and staying in contact with friends and family, but most of all for the Disneyland Paris app. This app is a must if you go to any Disney park. For every Disney park around the world there’s a separate app, where you find all the information you’ll need during the day. A map of the parks, wait times, restaurants ect.
  • ο»Ώ A Powerbank – You will be using your mobile quite a lot for checking on messages, making pictures and using the Official Disneyland Paris app. And you probably will be outside the entire day, so make sure you bring a powerbank to make sure you will be able to use your phone the entire day.
  • Snacks – Bringing your own snack will save you, just like the bottle of water, a lot of money on heavily priced Disney food.
  • Sunscreen – We will always bring sunscreen with us into the park. Yes even in Winter in Disneyland Paris. You are going to be outside the entire day and the sun is there, even if you can’t see it.
  • A raincoat  Another thing w’ll always bring with us to the parks is  a raincoat. It’s not only useful during the rain, but also in water attractions to stay dry or just to sit on.
  • Park maps – To get most out of your day, bring a park map so you’ll be able to go from one part of the park to another really fast and save a lot of time being lost. It’s even better to have the App of your Disneypark on your phone, so you’ll always have the map by hand and are also able to see the actual wait times on the attractions.
  • Earplugs – Pelle works in the music industry so by loud noises he likes to protect his ears with earplugs. For his this is a must, many it’s also smart to bring earplugs for younger children.
  • A camera – We can’t go to Disney without our camera, we use this thing a lot during the day. So we bring a whole bag of camera tools, lenses and battery’s. This isn’t a must for everyone of course.

Our tips:

  1. Don’t over pack, just bring the essentials with you. A lot of the things you bring isn’t going to be used.
  2. Read the Park rules before you go to the parks, so you know what you aren’t allowed to bring to the parks, such as selfie sticks.
  3. Even in Disney there are thiefs, so keep an eye out on you’re stuff.
  4. Bring a waterproof bag to protect your stuff from the weather or water rides.
  5. Don’t overthink, if you forget something you can buy a lot of essentials at Disney.
