We have been in Disneyland Paris for over 10 times in a span of 4 years and we’ve also been to Walt Disney World back in April 2018 for our Honeymoon. While you might think that Walt Disney World has all the rides from Disneyland Paris and more, it’s not the case.
Disneyland Park.
Sleeping Beauty’s Castle
If you have never been to Disneyland Paris, you might think we are making a mistake by placing a castle in the list of exclusive Disneyland Paris attractions. But even though Sleeping Beauty’s castle is a lot smaller than the huge castle in Walt Disney World, you can actually go in the castle. Yes, we know you can dine in the castle at Cinderella’s Royals Table in Walt Disney World, but in Disneyland Paris you can really walk around. When you walk through the castle there are small shops located on the right and left side of the castle where you can buy all kinds of crystal figurines and Christmas decoration all year around. But, that’s not it, a little farther thru the castle is a stairway on the left side. On the first floor you will see the story of Aurora and prince Phillipe on tapestries, and stained glass windows and you can even go outside and stand on a balcony with the most amazing view over Fantasyland. But that’s still not it… A lot of people don’t know this one, but you can explore the dungeons and meet a dragon.
Alice’s Curious Labyrinth
Even though a Labyrinth isn’t something unique in Disney parks this one is. This is the only Disney Labyrinth in the Alice in Wonderland (1951) animation version. The labyrinth is a very nice addition to Fantasyland and is very fun for young and old. It is also a great location to take great and unique instagram pictures if you’re lucky and it is not to crowded.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril
There are multiple Indiana Jones rides you can find in Disney Parks (Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea) but there is also a Indana Jones themed rollercoaster hidden in Disneyland Paris. Well, it is not thát themed, it just the name and queue, where you’ll be able to find some hints, that you’re going in a Indiana Jones rollercoaster. The ride is very hidden in the parks and without a map our guide, you will be able to miss this part of the park very easily.
Casey Jr’s Circus Train
Again very hidden at the Disneyland Paris park at Storybook in fantasyland, there is a little train which will take you across all of your favorite fairytales. This ride is suitable for everyone of all ages and is so much fun.
Le Pays des Contes de Fées
If you want to see the fairytales a little bit slower and want to give your feet some rest as well, this ride is for you. You’ll go into a boat and sail thru all tiny castles of our favorite fairytales. You will be able to wave at the people on the Casey Jr’s Circus Train.
On the last too rides you go thru the same land an fairytales, but the funny thing is on both rides you will notice different things and you won’t be able to see everything. We really like Storybook and think it’s fun for the entire family.
Les Mystères du Nautilus
This is such a fun hidden thing around the park, a lot of people forget the Nautulis or just don’t take the time to take a look inside. It might be looking kind of weird and small from the outside but it is a huge space in the inside. Especially with the France weather it is a nice way to look for shelter during the rain or sun. Make sure to take a look inside if you have the chance.
Walt Disney’s Studios
Ratatouille
This ride won’t be a Disneyland Paris exclusive for long anymore, but we are still going to mention this beautiful dark ride. The ride is currently build in the French Pavillion in Ecpot, Walt Disney World.
Cars Quatre Roues Rallye
This ride is build in 2007 as an expansion of Toon Studio, at Walt Disney Studio’s Park. It is an adjusting of the Alice in Wonderland Tea cups a great addition for the little ones in this park. In 2012 Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree opened at Disney California Adventure which is comparable to this ride.
RC Racer
This ride is a thrill ride in Disneyland Paris’s Toy Story Playland which opened in 2010.
Slinky Dog Zigzag Spin
You will also be able to find this ride in Toy Story Playland and it is nothing like Slinky Dog Dash at Disney California Adventure. This is a fun ride for the entire family, nothing scary and will bring a big smile on your face. This is our favorite ride at Walt Disney’s Studios.
Toy Story Parachute Drop
Again a ride you will find at Toy Story Playland. With this ride you’ll be 80 ft high above the entire park and have amazing views, but the view only lasts for a moment before you will fall down with your parachute.
Crush’s Coaster
The Crush Coaster is also a ride you’ll find at the Walt Disney’s Studio’s park. A unique ride a you won’t find anything like this thrilling rollercoaster at any other Disney parks.
