During our Honeymoon we stayed at Coronado Springs Resort for 10 nights and after those nights we changed for hotels and stayed at the Clarion Inn when we entered our room we imminently knew we had to get to of there. The rooms where disgusting and the smell was so bad! So we rushed to our phones and try to find a nice hotel where we could stay for the 4 nights we had left at America and found a Little Mermaid Room at the Art Of Animation Resort. We were over the moon that we got the go back to Disney property and couldn’t believe our eyes when we arrived at the Resort. Everything looked like you where standing in a Disney movie yourself. Everywhere you looked where Disney character statues, reverences and so much color!
Rooms
There are 4 different areas at this resort, Nemo and Friends, The Lion King, Cars and The Little Mermaid. We found a room at the Little Mermaid Area, so this entire area is sea themed and you will find fishes, treasured and Character statues from the movie.
Just like the area, the rooms are also complete themed! A sea themed rug, a shell shaped bed, a mirror surrounded by little fish and a Ariel shower curtain. The room was so clean and happy, every time we found a new detail in our room and we couldn’t be happier to be in that room, especially after the room we stayed in the night before.
Pricing
We paid €720 for 4 night at this amazing resort. We probably could have stayed here a little cheaper but due to curcomstanes we had to book this room last minute. (2018)
Hygiene
We didn’t stay for that long at our room, so we had the choice to have room service every single day or get a gift card. We choose for a gift card and made our bed by ourself in the morning and made sure to keep our room as clean and tidy as we could. The room service checked our room one time and that’s it. When we arrived our room was perfectly clean and all the towels were nicely folded and it smelled really fresh.
The check-in area was stunning and it had such a great smell! The entire resort was stunning and so shiny and clean. Even the place where you get to have breakfast, lunch or dinner, Landscape of Flavors, was spotless and there where plenty of cast members cleaning after every guest.
Food
There was one place at the resort where you could get your food and it’s located in the main building, where you can also find the check-in service and the Resort’s store. There are multiple little stands where you could choose from multiple meals.
We had two dinners there, which one of them was the biggest pizza we have ever seen and it was super delicious!
Conclusion
If we would ever go back to Walt Disney World we would for sure go back to this amazing resort! There was so much to see and do and it is even more fun for children. You don’t feel like you’ve left the Disney Parks at all. We’ve saw multiple pictures and videos in advance, but it doesn’t show how immersive and colorful it is in real life. If you haven’t decided on your Walt Disney World hotel yet, please consider this amazing resort, you won’t regret it!
